Gardenia Thunbergia Flowering Shrub or Small Tree Seeds
5 Gardenia seeds. The Tree Gardenia, scientifically known as Gardenia thunbergii, is a semi-tropical evergreen shrub that grows upright. Its glossy foliage with prominent veins adds to its visual appeal.
While the shrub itself is attractive, it is primarily cultivated for its remarkable flowers that bloom during the spring and early summer. These open-faced flowers are a sight to behold, emitting a delightful fragrance. They are creamy white in color with a tubular corolla.
Notably, the Tree Gardenia is renowned for its resilience and captivating scent, making it one of the hardiest and most fragrant varieties of Gardenias. Unlike many hybrids, this plant efficiently absorbs nutrients from the soil, reducing concerns such as yellowing leaves commonly associated with other Gardenias.
