Growing Instructions

Perennial. In November surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Lightly cover seeds with a sieved layer of soil. Keep moist but do not over water.
Move seeds to a cold frame and over winter between -4-+4°C. In early Spring move pots indoors or an area with a temperature of 20°C. Prick out seedlings when large enough to handle, pot on and plant out after danger of frost has passed.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to wait until November you can try sowing anytime, however if the germination is erratic cold stratify for a few weeks before returning to the warmer conditions.
