5 Drosera Aliciae seeds. Please note: The seeds are tiny like specs and are sometimes difficult to see. These sundews exhibit rosettes that can reach up to 10cm in diameter, making them highly suitable for cultivation in unheated greenhouses or conservatories. During the spring season, these carnivorous sundew plants showcase petite pink flowers. When provided with ample sunlight in a bright location, such as a south-facing windowsill, unheated greenhouse, or frost-free greenhouse, they can produce vibrant red rosettes. It is crucial to maintain a cool environment for these Drosera during the winter months, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to +5°C, as they require a period of cold dormancy. In early spring, these plants reawaken and typically bloom in April or May.

Growing Instructions

Perennial. Sow anytime. Use a neutral soilless potting mix such as 1pt peat moss and 1pt perlite. Ensure the mix is fully watered all the way through using distilled water. Surface sow seeds. Propagate with a propagator set or inside a zip lock bag with 2
inches of distilled water in the bottom. Place in fridge for 4-6 weeks to stratify (if you want to increase germination rates and decrease germination time)

After this place under lights or in a light position, expect germination in 4-6 weeks from this point. Always use distilled/rain water when watering these plants.
