Growing Instructions
Perennial. Keep seeds in fridge until ready to sow to keep them fresh for longer. Sow seeds in trays February-July in a good quality seed starting compost. Primula seedlings need light and air to germinate. Sow on the surface of the compost and do not cover with soil. You can sow the seeds on a layer of vermiculite or very fine gravel over the compost to help with moisture. Place a propagator lid on the tray or cover with plastic. Do not allow the soil to dry out. Allow 3-6 weeks for germination. Once germinated, take the lid off gradually and allow the seeds to grow at least 4 leaves before planting normally when they are 8-10 weeks old.
