Growing Instructions

What is a graded seed? The aim of seed grading is to maintain quality from one season to the next by removing immature, shrivelled, damaged, cracked, undersized or oversized seed.

Good storage qualities and improved breeding has made swede more grower friendly for sale fresh and as a processed product. A good source of winter revenue. Germinates between 12 and 30°C. Sow May-mid June, harvest Autumn onwards.
